Raising up a powerful generation.
Ignite is our weekly middle and high school outreach program that provides a safe place for students to grow in their relationship with Jesus, meet friends, and connect with leaders who can support them.
We meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at 320 Montrose Drive in Folsom. The evening is filled with games, dinner, worship, and a Bible teaching.
In the immediate area where Powerhouse is located, 93% of youth live in a home without a father. Many students in our area have a family member incarcerated and in Folsom State Prison. Most students we know are struggling with their mental health and come from a home where family members are stuck in the cycles of abuse and addiction.
We're rewriting that story. We believe this generation has a powerful future ahead of them. We're here to inspire them to become who God calls them to be.

What is an Ignite service like?
Our program begins at 6:30 PM at 320 Montrose Drive in Folsom. Students usually start arriving as soon as 6:00 PM where they are welcomed by our Youth Leader team. Throughout the evening there are games, dinner, a worship service, and a Bible teaching.
What is the process of becoming a Youth Leader?
We carefully interview applicants who are interested in working with youth and teens in our programs. All candidates are required to be livescanned and trained to work with youth and teens in crisis before attending our programs as Youth Leaders.
